Chile: Global FIRE: Latin American Business

This study abroad program will give students exposure to the Chilean business environment and culture.  This program delves into such topics as economic development in South America and sustainable business in Chile. Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI), one of top Business School in Latin America, hosts the program. Students will visit Santiago, Vine del Mar, Casablanca Valley (known for winery tourism), the US Embassy in Santiago, and learn why Chile has continued to be an economic power in South America.

Program fees are $3900. A non-refundable deposit of $500 payable online, is due after acceptance into the program, with the balance of program fees due at a date to be determined.

Your financial aid eligibility may apply to this program. You must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the University Financial Aid Office. In addition, you must submit the study abroad cost documentation form to the Global Education Office at the International Affairs building, 526 Prices Fork Road, room 131. Due to prepayment on items such as air and lodging, billing may not be in sync with financial aid payouts. Please be prepared to pay costs in advance and be reimbursed with any financial aid payouts later.

Application Deadline is December 1, 2019.

Students must be enrolled in International Business HTM/MGT 2314 during Spring 2020, or have previously taken the course in Fall 2019 or Winter 2020.
