This experiential learning course is taught by Dr. Chris Courtney, whose research has been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Newsday, and Crowdfund Insider.
The course is intended to train students to “think like an entrepreneur.” Students will gain skills and understanding on how to create and evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities, gather resources, present ideas, and engage in teams driven by creativity, leadership, and smart action. The more students engage with the class, the more value and learning will be gained.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the Entrepreneurship course, students will be able to:
- Speak about and present ideas to others;
- Use techniques to build out and shape ideas into actionable opportunities;
- Respond effectively in both individual and group interactions.
- Evaluate ideas for feasible implementation and commercial success
- Look inward at your own mindset and entrepreneurial capacity
